1. Invest in Seal Coating

Seal coating is where you put a sealant, or durable topcoat, over the asphalt. It makes the lot resistant to ice, rain, and UV sunlight. It can help keep water from penetrating the asphalt, which will lower the number of potholes that form. Paving contractors know that sealants can help the look of your parking lot and provide an excellent customer experience as they significantly extend the lifespan of your asphalt. We recommend sealants every two to four years for the best results.

2. Clean It Often

We recommend salting or sanding regularly throughout the winter if you live in a very cold climate, and before any freezing temperatures if you live in the South. Staying weather-wise goes a long way to protect your asphalt lot as well as your entire business.
